HCC member SynEnergy made history in September 2022 as the first minority engineering firm to launch a major ad campaign at an international airport (DEN).
The campaign highlights SynEnergy and Mina McCullom as one of the seven CEOs selected by CNN political commentator Van Jones to serve on the Green For All Business Council for his non-profit Dream.org. Mina is working with Dream.org to increase opportunities for people of color in the sustainability and engineering sectors and to change the narrative by showcasing minority firms successfully tackling big and complex engineering projects. Mina, a CU Boulder alumna in architectural engineering, has made it her mission to help create a pipeline for black/brown university students to explore opportunities in a space in which minorities are historically underrepresented.
