HCC loves helping small, diverse contractors learn how to do business with public entities and large corporations. Colorado’s fast-growing industry needs all the contractors it can get! We’re thrilled and humbled when we drive around the Denver metro area and notice all of the projects HCC members have been involved in.

Our Mission

Our mission is to build opportunities to strengthen and sustain our members’ knowledge, connections and voice with in the public/private sector in the Colorado construction industry.

What We Do

Founded in 1990, Hispanic Contractors of Colorado (HCC) is a professional trade association 501(c)(6), representing more than 210 member companies with inclusive membership from all backgrounds. Focused on commercial and public projects, our membership includes general contractors, subcontractors, specialty contractors, A/E firms, public entities, suppliers, and service providers. We collaborate with other trade associations such as ABC, ACEC, AGC, BCG, CCA, COMTO, IECRM and SMACNA.

Networking.

We help connect subcontractors with GC’s and public entities to build lasting relationships and provide needed resources through our strategic partnerships with Local/State organizations. We are known for our monthly member dinner meetings and networking events, business webinars and virtual networking opportunities.

Advocacy.

We advocate at the federal level, state capitol and with local government on issues impacting our industry. Members represent HCC on several local public entity task forces and city/county/state councils. We are members of Building Jobs 4 Colorado Coalition. Our relationships ensure that programs are structured for maximum opportunity and growth for members.

Leadership Development.

Through our BOD and Committees, we offer opportunities to develop individual leadership skills to maintain successful personal/professional relationships, contribute to organizations, professional development. Our Future Leaders Legacy Program offers mentorship for professional growth.

Education.

HCC Contractor Academy is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing a variety of top notch, affordable and interactive educational courses that discuss critical topics for small businesses in the A/E/C Industry, led by some of the most respected A/E/C firms in the Rocky Mountain region. The new scaling program offers one-on-one mentorship, leadership development and scaling strategies to help businesses create and sustain lasting growth.

Our Goals

Our objective is to influence the industry as it relates to opportunities for the advancement and well-being of diverse construction companies of all types. We create the forum for expression of a unified voice for our industry and “essential” workforce. That information sharing happens when our members, Primes, Agencies and Trades use their expertise in training and advocacy, which strengthens our entire industry. Our members are committed to the needs of all large and small members and the overall sustainable success of the construction industry.
