John Sattler is founder and majority shareholder of Diversified Consulting Solutions, Inc. Sattler is a graduate of CSU with a degree in construction management. Before starting DCS, Sattler worked as a project manager for a Colorado public school district where he learned the ins and outs of public school development, facility maintenance and operations. He is the president of DCS and serves as Principal in Charge or senior project manager on every project. Sattler has nearly 30 years of experience in the Colorado education market.
Diversified Consulting Solutions (“DCS”) is a full professional services firm that provides program management and project management services for clients in commercial construction and development. Founded in Colorado in 1998, the firm has managed nearly $1 billion in project value with projects in natural resources, education, emergency services, healthcare, land development and retail. Its project experience includes dozens of projects in public education including higher education, public schools districts and charter schools. Currently, the company is managing more than $150 million in public schools from the Denver metro area to eastern plains to the San Luis Valley and Baca County.
The company’s featured services include comprehensive project oversight as an owner’s representative, but it also provides master planning, building and site assessment and entitlement support. As an owner’s representative, it manages the procurement of consultants (asbestos surveys, land surveyors, geotechnical engineers, testing and inspection) engineers and architects and general contractors. It provides contract administration and oversight of all contractors on behalf of the owner.
