Summer Westbrooks brings 14 years of experience in construction marketing and business development. She began her career at Kiewit Building Group before joining Saunders Construction, where her passion for small business advocacy took root. At Saunders, she spearheaded the creation of the company's Outreach Committee, engaging employees from all levels in supporting small and diverse businesses. For the past six years, Summer has been an integral member of the Hispanic Contractors of Colorado (HCC). She co-chaired the launch of HCC’s Women in Leadership committee with Lisa Larance, and currently co-chairs the Marketing, Membership, and Events Committee, playing a vital role in organizing and promoting the association's events. Beyond her committee work, Summer has been a steadfast supporter of HCC’s public relations efforts, amplifying its mission through local business publications. Recently, Summer launched her own marketing consulting business , Aloha Spirit Marketing, and is in the process of obtaining certification as a small and minority-business owner. If elected as a board member, she promises to advocate for the voices of small and minority-owned businesses, while being a responsive and dedicated listener for HCC members, continuing to promote the important work the organization does for its community.
