Eric Miller

Managing Member, Labor Depot LLC

Eric Miller brings a unique combination of small-business ownership, construction industry experience, workforce development, community involvement, and leadership to HCC.

As Managing Member of Labor Depot, Eric works every day with contractors, employees, public agencies, and community partners throughout Colorado. His experience gives him a firsthand understanding of the challenges facing small and diverse businesses, from workforce shortages and rising employment costs to compliance requirements, access to opportunities, and the challenges of growing a business.

Since joining HCC, Eric and Labor Depot have experienced firsthand the value of the organization. They have built great relationships with other members, developed new business opportunities, and found a genuine community within Colorado’s construction industry. Eric has become such a believer in HCC that he regularly refers other businesses to the organization and encourages them to become involved.

For Eric, some of the greatest value has come from the relationships themselves. HCC isn’t simply an organization he sees at scheduled events. The relationships have grown into a community of business owners and industry professionals who sit down together, share meals, make introductions, exchange ideas, and help one another succeed. Eric believes that spirit is similar to what brought HCC’s original founders together and is something worth continuing for the next generation of members.

Eric’s background also includes service in the U.S. Army, law enforcement, construction sales and project management, and service on the Audit Committee of Partner Colorado Credit Union. He is actively involved in workforce development and second-chance employment initiatives.

Eric believes small businesses are the backbone of our economy. Having personally benefited from the relationships and opportunities HCC creates, he wants to give back and help create those same opportunities for other members. As a board member, Eric would bring a practical business perspective, strong relationships, a willingness to listen and learn, and most importantly, a commitment to doing the work necessary to help HCC and its members succeed.
