Alejandro Lerza is a highly experienced Petroleum Engineer with over 15 years of expertise in reservoir engineering for both conventional and unconventional resources. His career has spanned multiple countries, including Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, and the United States, where he has played crucial roles in optimizing field development plans and utilizing advanced simulation technologies. Alejandro’s areas of expertise include Reservoir Simulation, Data Analytics, Field Development Planning, and Production Enhancement. He has a proven track record of maximizing the value of unconventional developments through advanced well performance analysis, drawdown management, and data analytics. Currently, Alejandro leads a multidisciplinary team at Chevron Rockies Business Unit in Denver, Colorado, focusing on well spacing and completion design optimization, machine learning model development, and asset development plan improvement. Throughout his career, Alejandro has received numerous awards and has authored several technical publications.

In addition to his technical skills, Alejandro is deeply committed to supporting the Latin and Hispanic community. Alejandro earned his B.S in Petroleum Engineering in 2009 from Universidad Central de Venezuela, his Gas Business Management MBA in 2012 from Universidad Simon Bolivar, his M.S. in Petroleum Engineering in 2015 from the University of Southern California, his M.S in Data Analytics in 2018 from Texas A&M University, his Executive MBA in 2020 from IAE Business School and his M.S. in Finance in 2021 from UCEMA in Buenos Aires Argentina.
