Girl with Grit is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit officially founded in 2020, based in San Antonio, Texas, with a mission to empower youth and women through hands-on education with tools, safety, and an introduction to skilled trades education. Our workshops help participants build confidence and develop life skills by learning how to use tools, complete DIY projects, and explore careers in the trades. The organization has a robust track record in helping youth develop practical, vocational skills while also fostering mental health resilience, leadership, and personal growth.
