Join HCC’s Women in Leadership Committee for an empowering evening focused on the impact of mentorship. Our featured speaker, Michelle Lucero, will kick off the event with an inspiring talk on why mentorship matters, setting the stage for a evening of meaningful connections. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in roundtable conversations led by a diverse group of 20 experienced mentors, gaining valuable insights on business development/marketing, operations, finance, small business ownership and HR/admin.
Beyond networking and professional growth, this event supports a great cause—proceeds will benefit Girl with Grit, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth and women. Whether you’re seeking guidance or looking to share your expertise, this is the perfect opportunity to invest in mentorship and community.
This annual event sells out every year — reserve your tickets early! Group sponsorships start at only $400.
Girl with Grit is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit officially founded in 2020, based in San Antonio, Texas, with a mission to empower youth and women through hands-on education with tools, safety, and an introduction to skilled trades education. Our workshops help participants build confidence and develop life skills by learning how to use tools, complete DIY projects, and explore careers in the trades. The organization has a robust track record in helping youth develop practical, vocational skills while also fostering mental health resilience, leadership, and personal growth.
