My name is Andy Brooks, HR Business Partner with GH Phipps Construction Companies.

I recently became more involved with the HCC, starting with the Wine Tasting event, and was able to see the great things this organization does to bring the community together and help uplift one another. I am a Colorado native, grew up in Mont-bello and also graduated from there too! I have been fortunate enough to work with both sides of my company, the office and union side. I am able to bring different points of view to the table, allowing for insight into better ways to help our communi-ties.

As someone who came from these minority com-munities, I know the struggle they face in not hav-ing all of the resources available to easily succeed. I would love to be considered for the HCC board of directors, to be able to help and grow minority companies and support my Hispanic roots.
